This ongoing research project, supported by NIDWAN and funded by FIMI/AYNI, spans all 10 districts of Karnali Province. It aims to collect data on barriers and opportunities related to public service access for indigenous persons with disabilities. The research employs key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs) to gather insights.
Outcomes:
- Preliminary findings have provided data to support advocacy efforts.
- Enhanced understanding of the challenges faced by indigenous persons with disabilities in accessing public services.
- Data will guide future policy recommendations and advocacy campaigns.
